So when I do manage to get off the ground I find myself amazed at the experience. Luckily I’ve been able to share the past few trips with my son (who I’m happy to say is equally impressed by the experience).
It’s a shift in perspective that I cherish. The view is mesmerizing. The scale, humbling. And it’s, I hope, a taste of the future, where maybe instead of flying to Wisconsin we’ll journey to SPACE!
On my most recent flights I captured some photographs out the window that I enjoy, and want to share. So here are twelve images, at their highest resolution. Nothing spectacular, and mostly of clouds. If you can find a use for them, great, whether as wallpaper or a background in a design. Just don’t be a bad person (and sell them/claim they are yours/other stupid things I shouldn’t have to list but probably need to).
They were all taken with my glorious Pentax K-01 (discontinued, for shame!) and the hilariously small 40mm f/2.8 pancake lens. Words can’t describe how much I love this camera/lens combo.
Go, be free, photos, out into the world! If you make something cool with one/some of these images I’d love to see. And a tweet mention is always choice. Or, you know, buy some of my other stuff that isn’t free. Or don’t, whatever.
